For many motoring enthusiasts, their passion is led by the dream of driving some of the worlds classic cars. A lot of drivers show their love and dedication to their passion by buying personalised number plates to really showcase their vehicles. By adding a private reg to a beloved car, it not only acts as a symbol of someones devotion to motoring, but the plate itself can become a family heirloom to be passed onto loved ones. However, whilst private regs are affordable, few people actually have the cash to own and maintain a real classic. Now, Jaguar is offering people the chance to get behind the wheel of vehicles from its heritage collection in a new raft of experiences.
For the first ever time, Jaguar are providing fans of the brand the opportunity to drive some of the companys most stunning old models. The new Jaguar Heritage Driving Experience operates out of the companys Warwickshire based Fen End testing site. Special operations managing director for Jaguar, John Edwards, explained, This is the first experiential offering from our new division and is the first time in Jaguars history that we have made a collection of vehicles of this calibre available for arrive and drive experiences. Its an extremely exciting new project that underscores the very essence of what Special Operations is all about - celebrating heritage with our eyes firmly on the future.
There are a variety of packages on offer, and with the cheapest starting at £95, it means even those who dont have a lot of money to splash can enjoy the experience of a classic motor. Depending on the car driven and the package being bought, prices can rise up towards £2,000. The plethora of experiences include multi-car driving options, half-hour runs, Le Mans race specials and the most expensive Grace and Pace full day extravaganza.
In all, theres the chance to drive nine of Jaguars most classic vehicles and to feel what a real classic car experience offers. In addition, individuals can be chauffeured to lunch engagements in Jaguars saloons. With a merchandise shop on the Fen End facility too, the newest endeavour by the company could make many classic car motoring enthusiasts extremely happy. For a lot of people, such days out will make ideal gifts and dreams come true, allowing passionate drivers to get behind the wheel of cars they never imagined theyd ever drive.
