Top Ten Best Car-centric Music Videos of all Time

Top Ten Best Car-centric Music Videos of all Time

We love watching beautiful people drinking champagne and dancing around as much as the next person… but when it comes to music videos, there’s a better way to go.

We obviously think cars are awesome. Throw music videos into the mix and we get really, really excited. So excited in fact that we made a list of the ten best and most excitement inducing car music videos of all time. You’re welcome. Oh, and if your favourite didn’t make the cut, link to it in the comments and share the car-centric music video love!

#1 David Hasselhoff: Jump In My Car

With car in the title, the set of wheels in question had to be something pretty special – and it didn’t disappoint. The video features Mr Hasslehoff frolicking around in a 1983 Pontiac Trans Am which was actually made to look like KITT from Knight Rider.

#2 Big Tymers: Get Your Roll On

This video is a real 90’s-fest containing more wild vehicles than you could shake a stick at. Our personal favourite? The good old Cadillac Deville – vast, classic and luxurious - what’s not to love?

#3 Jamiroquai: Cosmic Girl

Possibly the best car of all time, the Lamborghini diablo steals the show in this full-on car video extravaganza.

#4 *NSYNC: Bye Bye Bye

Ok, so you’ve got to wait 3 minutes for the car to show up, but when it does it’s totally worth it. Featuring a Z3 and Dodge Viper in one of the greatest music video car chases of all time – and the song is a pop classic too.

#5 Lil’ Wayne: Stunnin Like My Daddy

This video features a Mercedes R-Class – need we say more?

#6 Notorious B.I.G.: Hypnotize

This video consists of a Mercedes E-Class convertible class chase – oh and they’re going in reverse and Biggie is holding the gas pedal down with his pimp cane. Pretty damn gangster.

#7 M.I.A: Bad Girls

Tacky gold outfits, copious amounts of gyrating and a plethora of Gold 90's BMW 3-series’ make this one of our favourite car music video scenes – ever.

#8 Jamiroquai: White Knuckle Ride

This one does exactly what it says on the tin – screening a serious ‘white knuckle ride’ involving a helicopter car chase with a Porsche 911 Carrera.

#9 Rocky IV: No Easy Way Out –

The song – average. But the car? We can’t help but love this forgotten 1980’s Lamborghini Jalpa. Not as loud and flamboyant as the Countach, but it has some serious class, and has aged impeccably; we could watch it all day long.

#10 Rihanna: Shut Up And Drive

Beautiful woman, stunning car and a banging beat – it’s no wonder this music video featuring an Orange Skoda rapid (which has been pimped for purpose) features in our top ten.
